Jennifer Hynes is a lifelong crocheter and longtime quilter living in Georgia.
Jennifer Hynes has been sewing and crocheting for as long as she can remember, making her own clothing as a teen. She began quilting in 1990 while in graduate school, needing to do something other than reading 19th century American literature. Through decades of raising two wonderful sons with her husband, Chad, and a career teaching college English, quilting and crochet have been her methods of relaxing and being creative. She has tried many styles and techniques of piecing, applique, design, and quilting (both hand and machine) over the years.
Now semi-retired, Jennifer seeks out workshops and travel opportunities to expand her skills in various areas of quilting, weaving, spinning, crochet, and other fiber arts. Jennifer’s quilts have been juried into the AQS – Paducah show, the International Quilt Festival in Houston, and QuiltCon. You can find her hand-made items for sale at her ETSY shop, Jenny’s Quilts & Crochet..
